In the Kurikulum Merdeka, students in grade 10 will study all subjects, including those from both the Science and Social Science subject groups. Specialization begins in Grade 11, where students start selecting specific subjects aligned with their intended field of study for university.

In addition to the main subjects, SMA Mutiara Persada offers the International Preparation Course in Business (IPCB) program. The aim of this program is to prepare students who wish to pursue higher education abroad, particularly in the field of business. This initiative also strengthens the school's established entrepreneurship program. Our school collaborates with the International Bilingual Education (IBE) Alliance and City College Plymouth to provide trainings for teachers and deliver the program. In addition to the subjects mentioned above, with the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka, there is the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5). The P5 program at our school is conducted in blocks, with each theme being covered over a period of one to two full weeks. The objective of P5 is to strengthen students' character, particularly in applying Pancasila values in their daily lives. Students will complete various themes within P5 and receive a separate achievement report for each semester. Moreover, their work will be showcased in special exhibitions at the end of every semester.
